Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate Apprenticeship: A four-year degree in a relevant engineering field or an equivalent credential from a government-approved institution.
- Graduate engineers and diploma engineers (the duration of the diploma may be 3 years following the completion of the 12th grade or 2 years following the completion of the 10th grade, depending on the condition of the student’s lateral admission into the second year of the relevant courses.) Only those who enroll in apprenticeship training under the standard (Full Time) form of schooling are eligible; one-year diplomas are not permitted.
- Technician apprenticeship: a three-year degree in mining engineering, mine surveying, or a comparable degree from a government-recognized institution.
Age Limit:
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old as of December 19, 2022.
Salary:
- In accordance with Rule 11 (2) of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992 (as revised in 2019), the chosen applicants would receive a stipend at the minimum rate, which is presently Rs. 9000 per month for graduate apprentices and Rs. 8000 per month for technical apprentices.
Selection Process:
- The Board of Apprentice Training, Western Region will select candidates based on the date of their enrollment on the NATS site. Candidates who enrolled earlier will be given preference. The date of engineering graduation or diploma passing, the percentage of engineering/diploma marks, and the date of birth will be the first, second, and third tie-breakers in order for provisional selection in the event of a tie on enrollment in the same category. Based on the aforementioned factors and reservations, a provisional selection list will be created.
