Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS or Possession of a recognized graduate medical qualification listed in the first, second, or third schedules, or part-ll of the third schedule, to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (other than licentiate credentials).
- The requirements mentioned in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 should be met by holders of educational credentials listed in part-ll of the third schedule.
Age Limit:
- Candidates for PHC: 42 years
- Candidates who are SC/ST/ALC-IB/SLC/EWS/PSP must be 43 years old.
- 40 years for in-service and government candidates
Application Fee:
- After completing the online application successfully, the candidate will need to pay the necessary amount via online means.
- Candidates from the Reserved Category must pay a fee of Rs. 500.
Salary:
- The salary range for level 9 for those hired for JKPSC Medical Officer Jobs in 2023 is Rs. 52700 – 166700.
Selection Process:
- The applicant(s) will be chosen based on a multiple-choice question written exam (MCQ).
