Name of the Post: Stenographer (Steno), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Multitasking Staff (MTS) Total Vacancies: 6400 Educational Qualifications:
- MTS: Must have graduated from high school or its equivalent from an accredited university and board.
- UDC: A degree from an accredited university or an equivalent is required. Should be familiar with the fundamentals of computers, especially how to utilize databases and Office suites.
- Stenographer: 12th-grade diploma or something similar from a reputable school or board is required.
Age Limit:
- ESIC MTS: The applicant’s age needs to be from 18 years to 25 years
- ESIC Stenographer and ESIC UDC: The applicant’s age needs to be from 18 years to 27 years
Salary:
- ESIC MTS: The applicant’s salary will be Rs. 18,000-56,900 i.e. Level- 01
- ESIC Stenographer and ESIC UDC: The applicant’s salary will be Rs. 25,500-81,100 i.e. Level- 04

- MTS: Preliminary and major exam written tests must be taken.
