Educational Qualifications:
- 5 years of service in the grade after the initial consultation to the Inspector Post on a Regular Basis in Pay Band 2 and 6 years of service in the grade after appointment to the Sub Inspector Post on a Regular Basis in Pay Band 1 are required. The officers from the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories holding comparable positions on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department (or) both of these requirements are also acceptable.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in any field and at least two years of experience managing cases involving criminal investigations, intelligence work or operations, information technology issues, or counterterrorism training.
Salary:
- Sub Inspector: The applicants will get Pay Matrix Level 6 (PB-2 with GP of Rs. 4200) Pay Scale
- Inspector: The applicants will get Level 7 of the pay matrix (PB-2 with GP of Rs. 4600/pre-revised)
Age Limit:
- The maximum age for appointment as an Inspector or SI through deputation should not be greater than 56 years as of the application submission deadline.
