Educational Qualifications:
- For positions as a professor, associate professor, or assistant professor, a Ph.D. in the relevant field is required, as well as First Class standing in all previous degrees.
- Candidates with Ph.D. degrees that followed a B.Tech. degree are also eligible, however, they must have earned a First Class grade in their undergraduate studies.

Age Limit:
- Applicants for Assistant Professor Grade II with Pay Levels 10 and 11 must be at least 35 years old.
- 40 years old for Assistant Professor Grade I.
- Professors are 50 years old and associate professors are 45 years old.
- Subject to the condition that the age relaxation is included in, it will be applicable.
- The applicant’s age cannot exceed 60 years old.
Application Fee:
- For candidates who are General, OBC, or EWS, there is a processing fee of Rs. 1000.
- Additionally, Rs. 500 must be paid online via the application portal for SC, ST, and PWD applicants.
Selection Process: Two steps will be used to choose the applicants.
- The shortlisted candidates are needed to show up for a written exam and/or a presentation on research and teaching in their area of specialty during the first round.
- The Selection Board conducts an interview as part of the second round.
- The written test, presentation, and interview scores will be used to compile the merit list.
